100 for 100: Art Works 100%
St. Maarten Chamber of Commerce has endorsed NIA's 100 for 100: Art Works 100% Scholarship program. This is an island wide campaign designed to identify talented students while providing them with year round inter-disciplinary arts education at minimum costs scheduled to begin September 2015.

NIA & SXM DOET
NIA successfully participated in SXM Doet. We had over 283 volunteers that assisted us in doing the new mural. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all friends, family and children that participated in the mural project.

NIA's Performance in Sheer Restaurant
On Tuesday May 19, 2015 National Institute of the Arts’ (NIA’s) selected students of NIA performed at a Welcome Reception in honor of the tenth meeting of the Intergovernmental Coordination Group for the Tsunami and other Coastal Hazards Warning System of the Caribbean in Sheer Restaurant in Frontstreet at 7.00pm.

CAY HILL - Saturday June 13, 2015
In collaboration with Club de Gym Saint Martin, The National Institute of the Arts (NIA) will be holding the second island wide gymnastics competition at the Asha Stevens Campus in Cay Hill from 10.00am to 12.30pm. This competition will feature students ages 10 to 18. Students will present on two gymnastic apparatus: floor and vault. Sofyiiah awarded Gold Medal in Guadeloupe
NIA Student, Lia-Sofyiiah Lake traveled to Gaudeloupe on May 8th 2015 to compete in the annual regional gymnastics competitions for further selection to France or European championships. The competition was held at Francois Guadeloupe. Lia, the only competitor in her category representing St. Maarten competed against 28 other girls from different gymnastic clubs from Guadeloupe. NIA's Final Year Informance
NIA's Final Year Concert will take place on Friday 12th, June at 7pm and Saturday June 13th at 5pm and 7pm.There will be regularly scheduled classes until the end of June. NIA's Student Wins Singing Competition
On Saturday, May 23rd, National Institute of Arts' students, Jessy and Jodyanne Gumbs, competed in their first singing competition at the 3rd Annual "Festival Voz Infantil", gospel singing competition held at New Life Assembly Church in Dutch Quarter. Jessy and Jodyanne were two out of over 20 participants in the competition.
