The National Institute of Arts is an interdisciplinary institution geared toward youths and adults of all ages. NIA provides national and international recognized interdisciplinary art education inspired by the principals of nation building and offers a wide range of classes and programs in the visual and performing arts. NIA fosters creativity innovation and explores the full potential of the arts and culture. At NIA we recognize the life sustaining and positive transformative power of the arts, as a catalyst towards fulfilling our full human potential. The National Institute of Arts is that place where the student of arts and artistry come together under a bold new vision that celebrates artistry and art making. One of the programs that we offer is the Youth Orchestra which has been newly established in 2019. The Youth Orchestra provides youths an opportunity to develop their musical interests and skills, not to mention peer support from fellow musicians. Research has shown that music has a positive effect on persons, it can develop emotional awareness and expression, can assist with healing and memory and not to mention it brings people together.
