Sofyiiah awarded Gold Medal in Guadeloupe

NIA Student, Lia-Sofyiiah Lake traveled to Gaudeloupe on May 8th 2015 to compete in the annual regional gymnastics competitions for further selection to France or European championships. The competition was held at Francois Guadeloupe.

Lia, the only competitor in her category representing St. Maarten competed against 28 other girls from different gymnastic clubs from Guadeloupe. For all her hard work Lia placed first place winning the gold medal.
